The Transformation

Act 1: Scene 2

We shed our mortal coils today, To don the essence of legumes fair! Each bean a soul, each pulse a way, To find one's true self hiding there! The metamorphosis begins, As human yields to bean within!

Behold our transformations grand! No longer mere mortals stand! We are the beans we worship true, Our sacred selves emerge anew!

See Lentilla, quick to flame, The red lentil's passion flows! In data and in bean lore fame, The Scholar's wisdom ever grows! Her temper quick as cooking time, Her knowledge deep, her thoughts sublime!

Behold Garbanzo, versatile one, The chickpea's many forms he takes! Creating rituals, shrines begun, While secret leadership he stakes! Adaptable as hummus spread, Ambition in his heart is fed!

Sweet Adzuki wrapped in paper brown, Believes her form is changing fast! With mystic koans, she wears the crown, Of bean transformation unsurpassed! She speaks in riddles, moves with grace, The sweetest bean in human space!

And Fava, grounded in the real, Yet keeps the sacred ledgers true! The pragmatist who still can feel, The bean-magic pulsing through! Keeper of the rummy deck, Reality's last line of check!

We are the beans we worship now! Before the legumes, mortals bow! Each persona fully grown, The Bean Church claims us as its own! No longer friends, but beans divine, Our transformations now complete and fine!
